Too Much Talk!

Kids say the darndest things, don't they? Case in point.. yesterday morning the kids and I were having breakfast together. My sons are always playing at the table and typically engaging in the wonderful "potty talk" as it's known. Well, yesterday was a whole different kind of talk. My 9 year old son Ryan informed me that he is going "ridin' in the honey wagon". ????? WHAT??? So I said, "Ummm. What is that? Something that bees drive?" He and the 11 yr old looked at eachother and cracked up. When they finally got a grip, they informed me that a "honey wagon" is a car that your "Honeys" ride in. "We learned it from "the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"." Oh my goodness. So yesterday, we took the "honey wagon" (My Blue Saturn Vue!!) on errands. At one point, my 9 year old pipes up, "Mom, who are YOU gonna take in YOUR Honey Wagon?" As I am opening my mouth to say, "Daddy, of course!", my almost 6 yr old daughter goes, "Mommy is taking Usher in her Honey Wagon!". I didn't deny that. I should have I guess, right? So I smiled sheepishly and shrugged my shoulders as if I had NO idea where she got that from. I hope Usher doesn't mind that I haven't taken the Honey Wagon thru the car wash in months and that Bailey spilled Gatorade all over the backseat. Then there's the brown stuff that melted on the carpet behind the driver's seat. Maybe I will just distract him w/ some potty talk?? On second thought- nahhhhh!
