Ok, I really didn't, nor do I want to. But this song is stuck in my head and "I like it"! The words don't strike me as those of a poet. I really like her (Katy Perry's) voice though. Kind of a more girly Joan Jett. And the beat? Makes me want to DANCE! Very 80's. Actually, much to my hubby and childrens' dismay, I did dance and sing to my new fav song as I walked on the treadmill.
So what if I'm a 36 year old married mom of 3? I have always been a top 40 kind of girl. I have endured my girlfriends rolling their eyes and begging "No! Please!" , when I pop my cd's in for the drive to Macy's. Not all of my friends complain. Some of them share my excellent taste for tarty pop. But, don't worry girls, you shall remain nameless!
So there it is. I like the song "I Kissed a Girl". But don't worry, Usher. "Love in this Club" is still on my iPod too and is still VERY meaningful to me. Wink, wink :)
